If a figure in a table or an article looks wrong, please tell us. Most values on The Accidental Order carry a filing receipt number, so the original document settles which reading is right.

Including these makes it quicker to check
- Page address — paste the URL from your browser’s address bar.
- Which item — the row and column heading, or the opening words of the sentence, so the spot can be found.
- What differs — the value shown on screen, and the value you believe the source document carries.
- Supporting reference, if you have one — a receipt number or a link to the filing. Reports without one are still received.
What counts as an error
A figure that differs from the source document, arithmetic that does not add up, a wrong base date or unit, a company name or ticker that does not match. Broken links and pages that fail to render are worth reporting too.
An empty cell is not an error. When a filing does not carry the value, the cell is left empty rather than filled with an estimate. The reason is usually noted next to it.
