Adjusted Valuation Table

P/B measured twice for every company — against total equity, and against the equity that belongs to its own shareholders. Every figure links to the filing it came from.

What the two readings mean

Every listed company in this table is measured twice. Once against total equity, the way a screener does it, and once against the equity that actually belongs to its own shareholders — total equity less non-controlling interests. Where a company owns large subsidiaries it does not wholly own, the two readings come apart, and the gap column below is that difference stated as a percentage. Every figure is taken from a filing on DART, Korea’s mandatory electronic disclosure system, and every row links back to the filing it came from.

Reading the flags

  • ID Derived by identity. The company did not print a separate controlling-interest line, so the figure was completed from the arithmetic that must hold in the same statement — total equity less non-controlling interests, or, where no non-controlling interest exists, net profit in full. Nothing is estimated.
  • OFS Separate financial statements. The company files no consolidated statements because it has no subsidiaries, so there is no controlling / non-controlling split to make. The two P/B readings are identical by construction.
  • P Preliminary. The most recent interim figure comes from a fair-disclosure preliminary release rather than a filed half-year report, and may be revised.
  • NC? Net cash not published. Some companies present their balance sheet as financial and non-financial liabilities, so borrowings carry no line named as a borrowing or a bond. For every company we take the worst case: if every financial-liability line on that balance sheet were borrowings, how far could net cash over market capitalisation move? Where that bound reaches one percentage point, net cash is not shown at all. Where a net-cash figure is shown, the bound is under one percentage point.
  • SH Share count moved. The listed share count on the base date differs from the count printed in the FY2025 annual report by more than 5% — a split, a consolidation, a bonus or paid-in issue, a cancellation or a merger in between. Market capitalisation, P/B and P/E use the base-date listed count; hover the flag for the filings found, or read the shares_note column in the CSV.
  • USD Statements in another currency. The company files in the currency shown rather than in Korean won. Market capitalisation is a won figure, so the ratios that pair the two are left blank rather than converted at a single spot rate.

Blank cells are blank on purpose. Where a filing does not carry a figure, this table leaves it empty rather than filling it with an estimate. The rules behind every column are set out in the methodology.

This dataset covers the top 200 KOSPI common shares by market capitalisation plus ten smaller companies already under coverage, with financial companies excluded. It is not an index and does not track one. Figures are as at the base date shown above and change afterwards. This page is information, not a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and it carries no price target and no trade timing.
